Before resetting this all-in-one VR headset, make sure it is off. Then press and hold power and volume down buttons simultaneously and wait for the headset to turn on. Once the headset has turned on, you will see a boot menu use the volume down button to go to the “Factory reset” option and then press the power button to initiate the reset. A confirmation popup will come then select “Yes, erase and factory reset”.

Enable Quest 2 Cloud Backup

Power off the virtual reality headset before resetting it and bring the controller point to the blue point where it says to power off and then squeeze the trigger to power off the headset.

Now press and hold the pill-shaped power+volume down button located on the bottom right side of the headset at the same time. Do not release these buttons until the headset goes into boot mode, and for that, you must wear the headset so that you can see the options in the menu.
