Although specifications are great, but it still isn’t worth it, because in this budget, a decent 1080p 240Hz IPS monitor can be purchased which will support G-Sync compatible giving you no ghosting or trailing.
Many hardcore gamers need the smoothest gameplay with superior image quality and a 240Hz display falls right into this category to play with uncapped frame rates.
A monitor with lower VRR and higher FPS will result in screen tearing as well. But, the 1080p 240Hz IPS model is capable to handle the job if it has decent overdrive implementation and LFC.
There are few other common errors like motion blur and ghosting that usually occur with fast-paced titles. Going with a 360Hz display is also not possible with G-Sync yet.

What is G-Sync?
G-Sync is a technology that is used to sync the frame rates of the monitor with the frame rate of GPU to prevent screen tearing. At 60Hz, the V-Sync handles this efficiently, but as we go with higher refresh rate monitors, the V-Sync won’t be able to handle this and will cause stuttering and input lag and therefore, adaptive sync is required. The job of adaptive sync is to sync the GPU with the monitor to avoid frame rate fluctuations. Adaptive sync is a standard technology, but NVIDIA is the only one with the alternate or monopoly as the G-Sync.
Sometimes a GPU produces faster images but the monitor is slower to display all those images and this causes tearing and requires G-Sync to maintain the frame rates between the GPU and the monitor. So, the rendering of frames with the collaboration of both the GPU and Display is important to prevent tearing. Similarly, a high refresh rate monitor with a capping graphics card will also result in tearing.
Are G-Sync Monitors Costly?
G-Sync monitors are expensive because of the hardware because a monitor with G-Sync requires an Nvidia scaler module for the working of this technology. For other manufacturers to include G-Sync in their monitors increase the price of the monitor as well.
For higher refresh rate monitors, there is an alternative that is FreeSync by AMD.
FreeSync is budget-friendly and compatible with any third-party scaler making freesync monitors relatively cheaper than G-Sync.
